Hygiene operatives

Major recruitment are looking for 2x hygiene operatives to join the potatoes factory in Worstead, Norfolk.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for cleaning factory and canteen areas, ensuring that all spaces are tidy, hygienic, and conducive to a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns observed during cleaning activities.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to support operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other staff to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workplace.

1x person will be working 4on 4off hours 0700-1900

1x person will be working Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Rate of pay: £14.77 per hour

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning, particularly in industrial is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to complete tasks.
• Good communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with staff.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving equipment if necessary.
